Signs your kitchen exhaust fan needs attention
Unusual vibration, rattling, grinding noises and weaker extraction are reasons to have a commercial kitchen exhaust fan checked. You may notice cooking fumes lingering around the canopy, a change in the usual operating sound, or a fan that starts inconsistently. Describe when the problem occurs: during start-up, after the kitchen warms up, or throughout the cooking shift.
These symptoms do not identify a single fault. Motor wear, grease accumulation, damaged components or problems elsewhere in the ventilation system can produce similar changes. Avoid ordering a new motor solely because the fan sounds different. Share a short description and photographs so the enquiry starts with the equipment and conditions actually present in your kitchen.
